Pelleve can be used on the face and neck as well as on any other body area and it is the first radiofrequency treatment that is safe to use on the delicate eye area to tighten skin on both upper and lower lids.
Pelleve delivers heat energy to a deep level of the dermis, using advanced monopolar radiowave technology to induce collagen contraction without damaging the surface of the skin.
Pelleve also induces neo-collagenesis, which is the production of new collagen. The result is a noticeable improvement in skin quality, tone and appearance with minimal downtime. Patients may see an immediate effect, but the results continue to improve over the next couple of months as new collagen production is stimulated.
Patients find Pelleve a very comfortable procedure, typically experiencing just a slight heating sensation. There’s no downtime bar a slight redness that is easily covered by make-up and patients are able to resume normal activities immediately afterwards.
This skin rejuvenation procedure can be used safely and effectively in conjunction with other treatments such as carboxytherapy or corrective peels to achieve the ultimate result and you should be able to enjoy your Pelleve results for up to 12 months and longer.
How long does Pelleve take to perform?
Each Pelleve session at Wimpole Aesthetics takes between 45 and 60 minutes.
How many treatments are necessary?
As a general guideline, between 3 to 4 Pelleve skin rejuvenation treatments over a course of months may be recommended by Wimpole Aesthetics. The number of sessions will depend upon the original skin condition and your response to the treatment.
Is Pelleve safe?
Pelleve is a minimally invasive skin tightening procedure and is very safe. It can be used on even the most delicate skin under the eyes, unlike many other skin rejuvenation treatments. Patients feel a warm sensation when being treated with the skin remaining heated for a period of time afterwards but, apart from some slight redness, there is minimal downtime.
How soon will I see results?
Patients often see an immediate skin tightening effect and notice a ‘post-treatment glow’ for the first few days. Collagen production is being stimulated deep in the dermis, and after a month you’ll start to see a gradual improvement to skin tone and texture as remodelling begins.
How much does Pelleve cost?
For a single area, Pelleve costs £250 per session. A full face treatment costs £550 and the face and neck costs £750 per session. If three full face treatments are booked in advance, the special cost is £999.
