TREATMENT OVERVIEW
Mesotherapy treatments involve micro-injections of therapeutic ingredients into the skin and/or the underlying supportive tissues. It can be used on the body to treat cellulite, hair loss, stretch marks, sagging skin and the ‘mummy-tummy’ and used on the face to improve overall skin health and appearance as well as skin hydration, tone and texture.
Mesotherapy treatments are known for giving a glowing, radiant, instant result, making them the perfect choice if you have a big event or special occasion to attend.
A blended cocktail of ingredients, including vitamins, amino acids, anti-oxidants and minerals is injected into the skin. Mesotherapy treatments will improve tissue hydration and promote new collagen growth resulting in skin regeneration.
The cocktail of ingredients is chosen to suit your particular skin problem Mesotherapy treatments are usually very comfortable, with little or no downtime afterwards.
Mesotherapy is incredibly versatile and can be used on all areas of the face and body to treat a wide range of skin concerns. On the face, it can help lift and plump the skin as well as improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our skin becomes more dehydrated as we age and mesotherapy dramatically improves skin hydration levels to improve tone and texture.
On the body mesotherapy can be used to tighten sagging skin, reduce areas of stubborn fat, as well as improve the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.
How long does the treatment take?
Mesotherapy treatments may take between 30 and 45 minutes per session.
Does mesotherapy hurt?
Patients typically experience minimal discomfort when undergoing mesotherapy as the needle used is very fine and the treatment is very quick. We can apply topical local anaesthetic cream in advance of your treatment to numb the area.
Is mesotherapy safe?
There may be some slight bruising or swelling after your treatment, but this usually subsides very quickly and side effects are very rare.
How quickly will I see results from mesotherapy?
Most patients see an improvement to their skin quality immediately after their first treatment, as the dermis instantly benefits from the injection of nutrients. However, mesotherapy also stimulates collagen production so your results will continue to improve over the next few weeks and months.
How many mesotherapy sessions are necessary?
Mesotherapy treatments are usually done as a course, ranging from 8 to 12 sessions, but you may need more or less depending on your individual concern. Timing between sessions too is dependent upon initial skin condition and desired outcome. They may be given as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjunction with other treatments such as corrective skin treatments or skin tightening.
