Mesotherapy Overview
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy treatments are known for giving a glowing, radiant, and instant result. This makes them the perfect choice if you have a big event or special occasion to attend.
It can be used on the body to treat cellulite, hair loss, stretch marks, sagging skin and the ‘mummy-tummy’ and used on the face to improve overall skin health and appearance as well as skin hydration, tone and texture.
Mesotherapy work will improve tissue hydration and promote new collagen growth resulting in skin regeneration.
The cocktail of ingredients is chosen to suit your particular skin problem Mesotherapy treatments are usually very comfortable, with little or no downtime afterwards.
What areas can be treated with Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is an incredibly versatile cosmetic procedure. It can be used on all areas of the face and body to treat a wide range of skin concerns.
On the face, it can help lift and plump the skin as well as improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our skin becomes more dehydrated as we age and Mesotherapy dramatically improves skin hydration levels to improve tone and texture.
On the body Mesotherapy can be used to tighten sagging skin, reduce areas of stubborn fat, as well as improve the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite.
But, let’s talk specifics:
Acne scars
Mesotherapy offers a solution for reducing the appearance of acne scars. The treatment can help promote smoother skin texture and improve the overall complexion.
Belly fat
When it comes to stubborn excess fat, Mesotherapy provides a localised fat reduction option. It can target and reduce fat deposits in the abdominal area – think of it as a form of body contouring.
Cellulite
Mesotherapy is effective in addressing cellulite concerns in your legs, arms and stomach. The treatment helps enhance skin texture and firmness, contributing to the reduction of cellulite’s visible effects.
Face
Facial Mesotherapy is a versatile treatment for rejuvenation. It improves skin tone, texture, and overall quality, contributing to a youthful and refreshed appearance.
Double chin
For those concerned about a double chin, Mesotherapy injections offer a solution by targeting fat deposits in this area. It can help contour the jawline, tighten skin, and reduce the appearance of a double chin.
Eyes
The delicate eye area benefits from Mesotherapy treatments. The procedure can reduce puffiness, address dark circles, and enhance the overall appearance of the eyes.
Hair
Mesotherapy is a valuable option for promoting hair growth and improving scalp health. By strengthening hair follicles, it contributes to healthier, more vibrant hair.
How does the Mesotherapy procedure work?
Mesotherapy treatments involve micro-injections of therapeutic ingredients into the skin and/or the underlying supportive tissues.
What does the process involve?
A blended cocktail of ingredients, including vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and minerals is injected under the middle layer of the skin.
These injections are strategically placed to target specific concerns such as cellulite, wrinkles, and localised fat deposits. Each Mesotherapy session typically lasts between 30 to 35 minutes.
For optimal results, a recommended course of 8 to 12 sessions is usually recommended. This series of treatments helps build up the desired effects gradually over time.
To minimise any potential discomfort, a local anaesthetic cream can be applied to the treatment area before the procedure begins.
How long do the results last?
The results of Mesotherapy usually last for a couple of months following the completion of a treatment series. However, individual results can differ.
To keep up the desired effects, occasional maintenance sessions might be needed. These intermittent treatments prolong and maintain the benefits of Mesotherapy over an extended period.
What happens after Mesotherapy?
No need for a Mesotherapy before and after picture, you’ll likely see your skin’s quality improve right away. The effects are noticeable immediately after the treatment.
Another benefit of Mesotherapy is that there’s no downtime needed. You can get back to your usual routine without much interruption or recovery time.
